The Rodrick Rules Trailer movie released by Disney +

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Roderick Rules Contains a brand new Disney+ trailer. Late last year, audiences got a look at the feature animation based on these characters. Now, there’s another entry on deck from Jeff Kinney’s series of novels. Luke Cormican is in the director’s chair for the effort. Roderick is Greg’s older brother and he’s kind of a bunch. Kenny’s crew of kids have become world famous in these books, and the latest entry is meant to excite younger audiences. As an added bonus, Disney and the publishing house are reissuing these books as a bonus in honor of the movie’s release. Check out what kind of agony awaits Greg in the new clip below!

“I’m really excited because this movie feels like the books come to life. It feels like Greg the books come to life in that he looks at the screen the way it looks on the page. So that’s fun, and I think it’s going to make Greg’s world feel really authentic,” Kenny previously told CBR. “You will really feel like coward Globalism. I’m so excited. We had so much fun with [older] movies and I love those movies, but it was really fun to bring the Greg Heffley cartoon character to life in a different way.”

How does this movie relate to the books?

Reader’s Digest sat down with Kenny to talk about his books and how faithful the adaptation is. “You can make a more faithful movie adaptation using animation instead of live action,” he said. “I got involved in every little detail,” he says. “I really feel like Greg’s world has come to life.”

“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” is an all-new animated movie based on the second book in the popular Jeff Kinney series of books, available exclusively at Disney+ December 2, 2022. Anxious, Disaster-Prone Middle School Behaviors Greg Heffley continues “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Roderick’s Rules,” focusing this time on his complex relationship with his older brother, Roderick. Rodrik, a spiky-haired high school student, is lazy and undisciplined, and spends a lot of time rehearsing with his rock band, Löded Diper. While he loves to torture Greg, he ultimately has a deep affection for his younger brother.
